The 35 students scored the highest among the 160 students who participated in the written qualifying exam at Christian Brothers Academy in DeWitt. They oral round will be held at WCNY in Syracuse on Feb 29. The winner of the oral round will win a trip to Washington, D.C., to compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee, which will be held May 24 to 29.
